About EHRI-DE

EHRI-DE is the National Node, representing Germany within the consortium of the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI-ERIC)

and serves as a platform for institutions and professionals engaged in Holocaust research, documentation and education. EHRI-DE has multiple objectives:

Interconnecting institutions, data and expertise;
Providing access to digital services, transnational funding opportunities as well as networking and training events;
Dissemination of research findings as well as methods, data standards, and new approaches in Holocaust Education.

EHRI-DE is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.

Johannes Meerwald is a historian based at the Leibniz Institute for Contemporary History in Munich and serves as National Coordinator of EHRI-DE.

Florine Miez, M.A.

Florine Miez is a political scientist specializing in German post-war history and works as a researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Contemporary History in Munich. In the EHRI-DE project, she is responsible for the work areas communication and education.

Miriam Reichlmaier, M.Sc.

Miriam Reichlmaier is a data scientist specializing in Digital Humanities. She works as a researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Contemporary History. Within EHRI-DE, she is responsible for the project’s digital activities.
